U-9 training Sunday & next Tue.We finish up a blitz v. Oranmore Sat.30th before taking a break for a few weeks.
U10s had a blitz in Caherlistrane versus the same on Sunday morning. We had a great turnout and the teams played three games against good opposition in wet conditions. The level of football on display was excellent and this group is really impressing every time they play. We will have training Sunday morning if there is no game arranged for this weekend.
U11 both teams have qualified for u12 league finals dates to be confirmed. u12C beat Craughwell away and Michaels at home in past week to finish 2nd in Group with 6 wins out of 7. U12B play Barna in playoff Thurs they've won 3/5. Both teams have developed really well playing a lot of games with some fantastic football well done all.

U13 footballers put in a strong performance to beat Bearna 7-05 to 2-04 last Saturday evening in very windy conditions.
This team are competing in two leagues and play the U14B league cup final versus Claregalway in Carnmore on Friday @ 7pm. These teams know each other well at this stage and this will be a competitive game. All support appreciated.
The u14a footballers went head to head with Claregalway last Friday night in the Prairie. It was a fantastic match with both teams showing great skills and character. Claregalway started strongly going into a commanding lead in the middle part of the first half. Our lads battled hard even though things weren't going their way. The second half belonged to our boys holding Claregalway to 1 point, while scoring 5 of our own. The match went to the wire with a last kick of the match converted free from Patrick Maughan to bring it level. Final score Claregalway 1-7 Salthill Knocknacarra 0-10. It was great to have such good support on the sideline from parents and family, and especially towards the end when the senior team lended their vocal support. Two matches remain before quarter final pairings are made, Bearna (Home) date tbc and Moycullen (Away) Fri July 13th.

u14 - U14 Girls Div 4 team played a challenge match vs Menlough last Friday in Skehanna. Menlough were the better team but it was a good run out for all the girls who were there. The Div 4 Shield semi-final then took place on Sunday vs St.James's in Renmore. After what was a thrilling contest, SKGAA Girls emerged victorious on a scoreline of 7-7 to 6-5. And they are now, deservedly, in a final!
U14 Div 1 team played Monivea on Monday evening in the league semi-final in Monivea. The girls played well and gave it everything in a fairly evenly matched contest but ultimately lost out on a scoreline of 3-7 to 2-7. Coachs very pleased with this team's development and fully expect them to give the Div 1 championship a good rattle in due course. Finally best wishes from the whole squad to our captain Joanne O'Flaherty who we hope to have back playing with us very soon.
